LOS VIAJEROS
Annual Four-Day Ride
Montesol Ranch, Calistoga,
June 21-24, 2007
Come ride in the beautiful hills above Calistoga, in the heart of the Wine
Country.
The Montesol Ranch, home of the Livermore family, is a beautiful spot with many
miles of
fabulous trails and a lake to cool off in after a lovely ride through the very
country
where Calistoga Water comes from. Don't forget your swimsuit and water toys
- in addition
to the lake there's a wonderful pool.
We are invited to come up as early as Monday afternoon; the “official”
ride starts Thursday.
Trails will be marked with ribbons, so we can form small groups and have a great
time without getting lost!
Our Campsite will be in a beautiful Pear Orchard, with plenty of trees for tielines
and space
for portable corrals. There are several water faucets, please bring hoses and
splitters.
There are showers available as well as a couple of flush toilets (and some porta-potties).
Please bring a chair for dining/ sitting by the campfire.
Cost: $ 275 for members, $300 for guests- includes camping
Wed. night- Saturday night
and all meals and liquid refreshments from Thursday Breakfast through Sunday
Lunch.
If you can only come for part of the time, the cost per day (or any part thereof)
is $ 72 for members, $78 for guests.
There is no extra charge for camping Monday and Tuesday as long as
your reservation is for at least two of the “official” days.
You’re on your own for meals on the extra days; however, dinner is available
on Wednesday night
(reservation required)
Optional Wednesday Dinner $12
(Spaghetti & Meat& Sausage Sauce/Vegetarian Pasta, Salad, Garlic Bread)
Thursday, Friday or Saturday Dinner only:$ 45
Gourmet Cuisine brought to you by Grace Headquarters Catering.
On Saturday night we'll have our traditional raffle - this is our only major
fundraiser of the year, so please bring something great to donate to the raffle
- remember, it's NOT a White Elephant event! ?
We’re also planning our Third Annual Silent Auction. It's time to think about what you might be able to bring to
be auctioned off for the GOOD OF THE CLUB. We all know that this money goes
to good stuff, and it makes us look good in the horsey community. We'd love
to get about 10-15 great items, so we can have bidding wars (P.C. Discussions),
and you can spend your money on that 'thing' you just have to have. Please start
thinking about it, and in your travels in the next month or so, maybe you'll
see something to bring. The auction items will be (hopefully) new items, or
very clean barely used items ... this event is really fun, and we're looking
for good stuff.
